Thanks to my uncanny ability to ignore all Metal Gear games after the first Metal Gear Solid, Solid Snake is still a relatively young and highly skilled cloned supersoldier. Capable of taking on a tank with a few grenades and his bare hands, he is America’s best weapon in its ongoing war against evil animal-themed supervillains. This time around he’ll be taking on the original American badass, Mr. Theodore Roosevelt. Armed with an elephant gun and capable of thinning out the entire wild animal population of Africa while still being touted as an environmentalist, he’s ready to stand up to Snake. After all, he needs to add this elusive “Solid Snake” to his trophy wall.

This is a fight between the suave, ever in control British superspy and the rough, scruffy American action hero. James Bond ranges from being a bruiser in a suit to a charmer who can save the world without getting his hair mussed. Solid Snake is a nicotine-addicted man who hits on anything with a pair of breasts and sports a mullet. The two superspies will go head to head to see which style is more effective.
The two greatest stealth video game characters of all time face off here. Well, I suppose that you could throw Sam Fisher in as one of the great stealth characters, but he’s a pansy compared to Snake and 47. Sure, he’s more realistic, but if I want reality then I’ll take a walk outside. Give me someone who takes on a tank with his bare hands or keeps a tool shed full of automatic weapons any day. In one corner we have Solid Snake, a one-time champion of the fights section and the man who invented the stealth game through the Metal Gear series. He’s best known for his appearances in the Metal Gear Solid, though interestingly enough he’s only the star of one of those games (I know it looks like he’s in MGS3, but that’s really his pop under the code name of Naked Snake). Taking him on is Agent 47, star of the less popular but actually much better Hitman series. 47 took the stealth game and brought it to a new level with disguises and meticulous planning. Of course, you can also play his games by just killing everyone, but they’re much cooler if you sneak through them.
These two combatants have battled many times before on this page. By many times, I mean twice, but they’re still the only fighters so far to have had a rematch. Max Payne has won one, Snake won the other. Now these video game superheroes at each other’s throats once again.
These two video game stars have faced off against each other before, so they really need no introduction here. Max Payne is the hard-nosed action noir hero with bullet time and an attitude, and Solid Snake is the angsty super soldier.
In one corner we have Max Payne, star of the video game…Max Payne. He’s a film noir detective who pays homage to both the classics such as Sam Spade and the action heroes of today such as Chow Yun Fat. He’s addicted to pain killers and is armed with tricks such as limited bullet time action sequences and two gun mojo. In the other corner we have Solid Snake, the Alaskan super soldier from the Metal Gear games. Snake is a bioengineered killing machine, skilled at all the arts of the war. He killed his best friend with his bare hands on a mine field, and has taken on the massive nigh-indestructible mech known as Metal Gear on more than one occasion.
