I’m a pretentious writer (and published author), so of course I have an opinion or two on literature. By some definitions, I’m also a bit of a trash reader – while I appreciate the great pieces of literature, I’m also fond of pop lit like Stephen King and Neil Gaiman. Literature helps shape our world, and being popular or strange doesn’t limit a work’s potential greatness. As such, this section includes musings on literature in all forms, from the works of Shakespeare and Byron to pulp sci-fi and the type of novels you find in the bargain bin.
