Pathfinder Rogues Gallery: Tarvi

Picture by EireenA jeweler first and an adventurer second, Tarvi is fairly attractive and tends to wear clothing that flatters her figure. She is somewhat shy when not on the job, but does have a sharp tongue that comes out when something irks her.

For Tarvi, the adventuring life was just a means to an end. She grew up in a poor family and spent most of her life deprived of the fineries she desired. When she showed an aptitude for magic, her parents pooled all their resources into getting her the training she needed. Tarvi would have been content to spend her life in study and isolation, but there unfortunately comes a time when all wizards must venture out into the world and face real peril if they hope to become adept at magic.

Tarvi’s adventuring career was hardly worth writing home about. She saw many close companions die when they picked battles that were too big for them to handle. She herself felt nearly useless, constantly hiding behind fighters while she occasionally added a useful spell here and there. It was with great relief when she finally retired from the adventuring life and used what treasure she had gained to set up a special shop of her own.

Tarvi now runs the jewelry shop Bewitching Baubles. She can usually be encountered in her shop, which deals in both traditional jewelry and magical trinkets. She will provide magical advice and spellcasting services if desired, but will almost never adventure unless offered a significant share of the treasure. Until such a day comes that she gets sucked back into the adventuring life, Tarvi is quite content to spend her spoils on fine jewelry and luxuries she never had as a child.
