Review Roundup: Exit Rulk, Enter Skaar
In my comic reviews, I’m taking a much-desired break from reviewing the Red Hulk saga, which is absolutely great for my sanity. The bad news is that I still have Incredible Hulk #600 on the horizon, which is possibly my most despised comic book of all time. The good news is that it gets better from there.
Before I can get into that stuff, though, I need to bring folks up to speed about the goings-on over at the ruined planet of Sakaar. There we get Skaar: Son of Hulk, which is basically a combination of Planet Hulk and the stories of Conan the Cimmerian. As a fan of fantasy fiction and the Hulk, this series is a godsend to me.
Hulk #12 (“Winner Takes All”)
Skaar: Son of Hulk #1 (“Cradle of Fire”)
Skaar: Son of Hulk #2 (“Blood of the Dragon”)
