Review Roundup: More Red Hulk
For issues that speed by very quickly, Jeph Loeb’s red Hulk run seems to take a very, very long time to get through. This week’s reviews go through the second and part of the third arc of the red Hulk saga. At least there are some laughs this time around. Also the Hulk actually gets to star in his own book, albeit while sharing it with the red impostor.
Hulk, volume 4, #7 (“What Happens in Vegas”/”Hell hath no Fury”)
Hulk, volume 4, #8 (“Stays in Vegas”/”Like a Woman Scorned”)
Hulk, volume 4, #9 (“Jackpot”/”The Revenge of the Lady Liberators”)
Hulk, volume 4, #10 (“Love and Death”)
Hulk, volume 4, #11 (“Trapped in a World they Never Made”)
On a side note, I’d like to extend a big middle finger to Marvel for making a huge deal about Spider-Man’s 50th anniversary while pretty much totally ignoring the multiple other characters, including the Hulk, which are hitting a 50th anniversary this year.
